ADRA (Intern'l Relief)

Easy crock pot Mexican Chili

Ingredients:

Cooking spray
1/2 cup celery, chopped
½ cup onion, chopped
1 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained 1/8 cup corn oil
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 ½ cups tomatoes, chopped
½ cup tomato paste
1/2 green chili peppers, drained and chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried, crushed marjoram
½ teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic paste

Directions:

1. Lightly spray slow cooker with cooking spray
2. 
Place the celery, onion and beans in the crockpot
3. Heat oil in a skillet; brown ground beef and drain
4. Place the beef over the vegetable mixture in the crockpot
5. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and chili peppers
6. Cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours
7. Add the marjoram, cumin and garlic paste; Stir
8. Turn the heat to HIGH and cook for an additional 15 minutes
