Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
Unsalted butter, softened
3 eggs, beaten
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups 1-inch bread cubes
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped date
Directions:
1. Coat the inside of
the insert of the slow cooker with the softened butter.
2. In a separate bowl, combine all ingredients, gently stirring until
bread cubes are thoroughly moistened.
3. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
4. Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or until the custard is set.
